No, HUAWEI phone still does not Google Mobile Services!
Despite the effort they put in on advertisement claiming that HUAWEI phone is now partially supporting Google Mobile Service, HUAWEI officially still does not work with Google.
So what does “support” mean here? It means installing an unknown software called LightHouse.
Who developed LightHouse? It was developed by someone named SkyWalker, named after the main protagonist in Star Wars movie series.
Can HUAWEI users trust this unknown software from an anonymous developer with their Google data? Do you trust your Google data with this software from an unknown developer?
“No Google, No Problem”, or is it?
Since HUAWEI was banned from trading with the United States companies in 2018, HUAWEI has always claimed “No Google, No Problem”.
But HUAWEI Mobile Service is so bad, and another without Google Mobile Services is just an empty shell, making HUAWEI putting up advertisement for this unknown application to solve their “Google Problem”.
If you choose to buy a HUAWEI phone today, be prepared to live without Google. Don’t install any unknown Google software, or you might end up losing money from your bank account without knowing why.
