After one whole year of launching Google Wallet in Malaysia, there is finally a new entry to the supported payment methods!
According to the official FAQs by Google, Standard Chartered Bank Malaysia issued credit card and debit card is now officially supported as a payment method in Google Wallet Malaysia!
Currently, there are five banks listed as officially supported payment method, and they are CIMB Bank and its Islamic bank equivalent, Hong Leong Bank and its Islamic bank equivalent, HSBC Bank Malaysia and its Islamic bank equivalent, Public Bank, and the newest entry, Standard Chartered Bank Malaysia
What is Google Wallet?
Google Wallet is a digital payment service provided by Google. It enables users to securely make payments and transfers at supported merchants and online stores.
Users can add their credit cards and debit cards information to Google Wallet and use their smartphones or smartwatches to make payments.
The goal of Google Wallet is to streamline the payment process and provide a convenient and secure digital payment experience.
